Made from high carbon steel, an advanced heat treatment that creates a fine-grained, ultra-strong structure to increase strength by up to 30% compared to normal tempering, the Offshore Assist is a strong hook, designed for powerful species. It has an ultra-sharp chemically sharpened hook point, a three-stage process which removes less metal from the point without diminishing the sharpness. To make it last longer, it is coated in a black nickel finish to give increased rust resistance. It comes pre-rigged with two hooks and durable stainless steel rings and tough braid protected with shrink tube over the hook eye. Can be used with any jigs on the market and attached with the stainless steel flat split ring.
