The Angling Trust has announced the dates for the 2018 England Talent Pathway Sea angling programme. Young anglers with the desire and potential to represent their country are being invited to join the coaching programme where they will learn about international tactics and techniques from current England international managers, coaches and anglers.
The programme has proved hugely popular and successful in recent years with many anglers progressing from the programme to Tronix Pro England Junior Shore World team. Graduates from the 2017 programme Tom Ryder, Ben Eggleton, Ben Cloke, Adam Molloy and Riley Price all represented England in the FIPS-M World Junior Shore Angling Championships in France and went on to secure a silver medal.
Anglers will receive free tuition from some the best and most experienced and successful coaches and anglers in the country. The vastly experienced Chris Clark and David Graham head up the coaching team supported ably England manager Mark Hurcombe and England Youth anglers Callum Graham and Charlie Tudball. The programme is free to enter with tuition and bait provided free of charge. It is a requirement of the programme that anglers attend all of the sessions.

Event 2: 11th August, Milford Shingle, Milford on Sea
Event 3: 2nd September, Pennington Sea Wall

England World Team Manager David Graham said “The primary purpose of the programme is to help youngsters to become better anglers. Many will have the ambition to represent their country and win medals and we want to help them understand and learn about the skills and techniques required to compete at international level. Not every angler will go on to represent England but every one of the anglers on the programme will become a better angler as a result of taking part.”
