A general all-round boat fishing rod that is as happy drifting across banks for plaice and turbot as it is wreck fishing for big cod and pollack. Created to provide a good, introduction rod for the newcomer to boat angling without having to break the bank. As a 20/30lb class rod, it can cope with most boat angling situations without appearing too heavy or too outgunned depending on the target species.
An attractive looking rod finished in AXIA blue with black whippings and silver accents, a quality EVA foam grip above the reel seat and along the butt section provides plenty of comfort and grip. Additionally, a cork butt cap increases the comfort, especially when fighting more powerful species. A metal collar on the butt section spigot provides plenty of strength, and a hook keeper ring adds something different not often seen on boat rods, ideal for clipping in rigs when on the move. The rod is finished off with good quality guides and a DPS reel seat.
